Book Review & Summary:

The American Empire is finished and will soon become another cautionary tale, tossed upon the trash heap of history, and destroyed by the very same societal issues that plagued the many former empires that share similar fates. It did not have to end this way, but when the most devious and ruthless members of a society are tasked with running the system, the outcome can hardly be in dispute. All empires fall, but it is the reason they eventually come apart that is surprisingly similar. The fate of America will not be any different. Like a 47-story steel and concrete building that is covertly slated for demolition, the American Empire was built on a rotten foundation and has been targeted for destruction. The core of the building has been pre-weakened over the decades through government policies, had its support columns identified and rigged with financial detonators, watched society be transformed into a culture incapable of recognizing their impending doom to sound the alarm, and as the plunger is pushed down and the destruction begins, many people will have no idea of what is coming their way until it is too late. Once the debris is cleared away there is hope that a new civilization can be built, but will they make the same mistakes, or can they learn from the past and chart a different course?

Book Summary:

Was 9/11 engineered and designed to allow the Bush administration to hijack America’s democracy? Did fear mongering allow the US government to convince the American public that conducting huge, expensive wars in Afghanistan and Iraq was a necessary counter to defeat fabricated culprits in the Middle East? Was this all a plot to induce a financial boom that robbed the middle class of its wealth and brought the world to its knees in 2008? Examining the key players within America’s government, as well as the states that supported and carried out the attacks, Death of a Nation attempts to reveal that 9/11 was falsely portrayed by the Bush administration, and in fact carried out by elements within the United States government and military to further their own geopolitical and financial interests. Death of a Nation provides a searing indictment of the role now played by America in global affairs and warns that, with a broken society and body politic, the world is seeing the rise of one of the most overtly fascist nations since the Second World War—creating profoundly disturbing implications for the future of humanity. A generation is coming of age that doesn’t remember 9/11 happening, and knows of no world but this. We can’t allow this to be the new normal. Death of a Nation will change your view of the events of 9/11 and force you to question America’s self-appointed position as leader of the free world.

Book Summary:

Since the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, traditional American foreign policy has proven inadequate to 21st Century challenges of Islamic terrorism and globalization. In this ground-breaking analysis, author James Kurth explains that the roots of America's current foreign policy crisis lie in contradictions of an American empire which attempted to transform traditional American national interests promoted by Presidents like Teddy Roosevelt and FDR into a new American-led global order that has unsucessfully attempted to promote supposedly universal, rather than uniquely American, ideals. Kurth dates the creation of the American empire to the morning of September 2nd, 1945, when General Douglas MacArthur, at the head of the representatives of the Allied Forces, received the surrender of the representatives of the Empire of Japan. And so, the book begins, on its front cover, with a depiction of the moment when the American Empire, and the "American Century," were born...

Book Summary:

A new history of the United States that turns American exceptionalism on its head American Empire is a panoramic work of scholarship that presents a bold new global perspective on the history of the United States. Taking readers from the colonial era to today, A. G. Hopkins shows how, far from diverging, the United States and Western Europe followed similar trajectories throughout this long period, and how America's dependency on Britain and Europe extended much later into the nineteenth century than previously understood. A sweeping narrative spanning three centuries, American Empire goes beyond the myth of American exceptionalism to place the United States within the wider context of the global historical forces that shaped Western empires and the world.

Book Summary:

“If there was only one book to get on the subject, this would be it. Great history – should be required reading.” – reader review “Useful to tie my knowledge segments together. This book explains why we should stay aware of new happenings to see if they tie in to the end of our sovereignty.” – reader review In 1967, Myron Fagan released a three-LP set titled Illuminati. This recording has been transcribed (you can hear the original audio here) and the text has been used to create this edition, published in 2017 by A Distant Mirror in paperback, Kindle and epub formats. Myron Fagan reveals the plot for global enslavement launched two centuries ago by Adam Weishaupt, an apostate Catholic priest who, financed by the House of Rothschild, created the organisation which he named the ‘Illuminati’. Fagan describes how this group has been used by the House of Rothschild to work towards a world government, and how every war during the past two centuries has been instigated by them. He describes how Jacob Schiff was sent to the United States by the Rothschilds to further the Illuminati plot, and how he was able to gain control of both the Democratic and Republican parties. He shows how Schiff seduced the American Congress and Presidents so as to achieve control of our financial system, and create the cancer of income tax. He also reveals how Schiff and his co-conspirators created the Council on Foreign Relations, in order to control our elected officials and gradually lead the U.S. into becoming part of a luciferian world government. In short, this is the fascinating, horrifying – and factual – story of the most sensational plot in the history of the world. Fagan lays out the history of the Illuminati, exposing the plot for a single world government. The author gives names, dates, organizations, modes of operations – all exposing the Satanic octopus that to this day seeks to strangle the world in its grip. This book exposes the entire history of the plot – the Rothschilds, Zionism, the Luciferian ideology, the destruction of national sovereignty and religions, the role of Freemasonry, the Illuminist banksters and media, and the plans for three World Wars.

"Summary: To determine what happened on 9/11, all available evidence must be considered. We cannot pick and choose which observable facts we may want to explain and then ignore the others. Any explanation must consider all the available evidence... None of the facts, events, anomalies, or phenomena that have been listed, discussed, and analyzed in this book can be explained by airliner crashes, jet fuel fires, or any scheme of controlled demolition. A comparison of the 911 evidence collected with the evidence of results produced by the well-established Hutchison Effect shows that a similar technology was employed in the destruction of the towers..."--P. 483-484.

Book Summary:

In early 2016, WikiLeaks released thousands of hacked emails from Clinton 2016 campaign chairman John Podesta. When online sleuths discovered a handful of emails containing incomprehensible cheese pizza references, floodgates opened as observers realized that in dark web pedophile communities, "cheese pizza" functions as shorthand for "child porn." Before long, a global phenomenon erupted that would cause a frenzy in media outlets, drawing scrutiny from politicians and journalists worldwide. But publishing on Aceloewgold.com, a little-known finance and alt-news opinion blog, an obscure blogger calling themselves Ace of Swords wasn't ready to dismiss it all as fake news. Equally, Ace rejected the fanatical and conspiratorial Alex Jonesian approach to processing the phenomenon. From 4Chan to the New York Times, all the way to a real-life shooting at a pizza joint in Washington, D.C. that became the dramatic climax of the controversy, this is Ace's report. Read it and draw your own conclusions. Whatever you believe, one thing is for sure: the intersection of politics, journalism, conspiracy theory culture, and the world wide web just doesn't get any stranger than Pizzagate. Whether it was a conservative fake news hoax, an example of how conspiracy theories can harm real people, or a genuine case of ritual child abuse in the highest centers of power, you'll see how it unfolded and what it--and the reaction to it--reveals about the 21st-century cultural zeitgeist.

Book Summary:

"Candy Jones" was the stage name of Jessica Wilcox (b. 1921) who became famous as a model and "pinup girl" in the early 1940s. Her story seems too bizarre to be true. One of America's most famous models, brainwashed by the CIA? Yes, it is another example of truth being stranger than fiction. The story begins with Candy's wedding to Long John Nebel, New York's most successful radio talk-show host. During the wedding, and regularly thereafter, Candy's personality would seem to shift. She would suddenly change from her affable, self-effacing self to a brusque, aggressive "stranger." For the first few months of the marriage, these shifts were infrequent enough that Nebel didn't worry much about it, but as time went on, they got worse. Nebel began trying to relax his wife by hypnotizing her. Although Candy insisted that she couldn't be hypnotized, she slipped easily into a relaxed state, and then into a healthy, deep sleep. But during the third session, with no suggestion from Nebel, Candy spontaneously regressed to a young age. After that, Nebel began to record their sessions. The result of these sessions was that Nebel discovered his wife had been brainwashed into have a second identity, "Arlene," whom a CIA doctor had used to carry messages all over the world. Eventually, Candy was tortured at CIA headquarters, so that her doctor could display her "successful" programming. "The Control of Candy Jones" sent shockwaves through the corridors of power when it was first published in 1976. After reportedly being suppressed by the CIA, it became an instant classic, and remains so today.

"Halfway between Frederick Forsyth's Dogs of War and Ayn Rand's Fountainhead. The gold mine in the jungle, the mercenaries, and the child soldiers keep you turning the pages. A morality tale with modern twists." -John Mackey (Founder, Whole Foods Market and author of Conscious Capitalism) The greatest gold discovery in history draws a young Charles Knight to West Africa, where he unearths deception, violence, and romance. Xander Winn-a Dutchman on his own mission-mentors Charles on his voyage into the world of speculation and African politics. But a psychopathic rebel leader, the purveyors of a six-billion-dollar fraud, a team of mercenaries bent on early retirement, and the US government all get in his way. Everyone wants him dead. But Charles plans to strike it rich. ADVANCE PRAISE FOR SPECULATOR "Speculator uses the cover of a thrilling tale of international intrigue to provide an economic and moral defense of the much-maligned speculator and an economic and moral condemnation of those who profit via force and fraud. Doug Casey and John Hunt have provided an invaluable service to those looking for unique ways to spread the ideas of liberty." -Dr. Ron Paul "Speculator may prove to be the first in a new genre of fiction. Give this book to all your friends and enemies." -John Hart (Author of Redemption Road) "Adventure... intrigue... philosophy... politics... you'll find it all in this fast-paced novel from Doug Casey and John Hunt. Most important, you'll find thoughts - the kind of thoughts that will make you think too." -Bill Bonner (Author of Empire of Debt and Mobs, Messiahs, and Markets) "Speculator will keep you thinking long past the conclusion and for years to come."-Robert Ringer (Author of Looking Out for #1 and Winning Through Intimidation) "Speculator is a roller-coaster lesson on the arcane world of gold-mine investing. An African revolution, massive fraud with massive profits and losses-the novel is such fun you don't notice how much you are learning. But, mostly, it is a good read with a unique protagonist." -Wendy McElroy (Author of Liberty for Women) "Move over John Galt and Humphrey Bogart, Speculator has created an old-fashioned hero with contemporary style and sex appeal. Expert cicerones lead us through the dark world of African mining and international finance. It is a riveting tale, perfect for a day at the beach or a long-winter's-night read. Pure gold." -Richard Harteis (Author of Marathon and Publishing Director of Poets-Choice.com) "Passionately pointed and provocative."-David Brin (Author of Earth and The Postman) "Speculator combines the fast-paced action of a Dirk Pitt adventure story with the cerebral message of an Ayn Rand novel. The authors' knowledge of how markets, mining, and governments work is impressive, yet the book reads like a day at the beach. Crisp, intelligent, and witty, this new adventure series might even out-Rand Rand." -Jo Ann Skousen (Professor of English Literature, Chapman University)
