Excerpt from Report of the Fruit Growers' Association of the Province of Ontario, for the Year 1880 A vote of thanks was passed to Mr. Smith for his paper, and some discussion took place thereon. Messrs. Saunders, Roy, Switzer, Arnold, Smith, Bell, Burnet, Brooks and others took part in the discussion, which soon swayed from raspberries to grafting ap'ples, pears, etc. About half-past eleven o'clock Mr. Dempsey called attention to the fact that the Association was getting away from their text, and made a few interesting remarks on raspberries. He endorsed what Mr. Smith had written about certain varieties. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
