Book Summary:

Still bent on obtaining the Holy Grail generations after his time in the Holy Land, Montrovant receives word that the Knights Templar are about to fall. Whether spurred to action by an old loyalty to the Order that he founded or the rumor that biblical treasures lie hidden in the recesses of the Templars' castle, the vampire known as the Dark One sets off to the rescue. Enroute, Montrovant must deal with the trickery and unfathomable machinations of Santos, the dark guardian of lost treasures who advises the Knights from the bowels of their castle; Kli Kodesh, an ancient Nosferatu whose desire for entertainment often overlooks the lives lost to win his pleasure; and even Eugenio, Montrovant's own sire. Montrovant and his companions—including a woman he nearly Embraced centuries ago—race against time and the arrival of a Church-sponsored army sworn to destroy the now corrupt Templars to wrest the Grail free of those who would keep it hidden. This second volume of The Grails Covenant trilogy follows To Sift Through Bitter Ashes and interweaves characters and action with the modern vampire saga, the Trilogy of the Blood Curse.

Book Summary:

Cornelius was able to roam freely among the streets of the city undetected for one simple reason. If that man next to you on the train or that woman at the theatre told you that he or she was a vampire, would you believe them? After being turned into a vampire during transport to America to become a slave, he was thrown overboard and drifted ashore on the New England coastline in 1804. Now, hardened from a lifetime of death and solitude, he sensed a void within that left him feeling so very alone. In search of something or someone to give his life some meaning, Cornelius had walked the earth for centuries. Finally, he found what he had been endlessly waiting for, her name was Rita. But Cornelius had many secrets, most importantly, a frightening reminder of his past that had plagued him for over one hundred years. Inescapably, that past could no longer be ignored and would prove to be an obstacle that would prevent Cornelius and Rita from ever being together. If neglected further, it also threatened to end both of their lives, a life Cornelius saw as a new beginning. Even if he chose to confront his demons to find some closure and stop running, was he powerful enough to accomplish it? Staring deeply into the face of such an overwhelming situation, were they foolish to believe that they could be together?

Book Summary:

Learn how to mix skin colours, paint hair and techniques for painting eyes in this oil painting book. Portrait painting is often seen as the last frontier of representational art as every detail has huge consequences upon whether a portrait looks like the person depicted. The beginner need not venture far before encountering a possible minefield of problems. Common issues might be why a portrait painting looks childish, eyes look like marbles, hair looks like a wig or noses appear skewed. Such frustrations and many others might be encountered by professional and amateur portraitists alike, whether it is to capture the highlights in eyes or to make skin tones appear three-dimensional. It is all part of learning to paint. If the issue persists, however, the problem is likely to become a creative block in portraiture. This is where this book comes in. Each issue is tackled candidly and in-depth, consisting of a description of the issue concerned, suggested solutions via the art materials required and painting exercises. In total, 26 “peeves” associated with portraiture are tackled within this book. A myriad of other matters relating to portraiture are explained, including suggested pigments to use for ethnic subjects, painting from life, portrait photography and more – in total, with countless colour images. Sections I and II within the after matter of this book provides step-by-step demonstrations for first-time explorers of skin tones. Some of the images within this book can be found in my other Oil Painting Medic Book, Portrait Painting in Oil: Ten Step by Step Guides from Old Masters. Other images have been sourced from my fine art paintings and commissions. My other book on portraiture, Portrait Painting in Oil 10 Step by Step Guides offers in-progress demos on painting old master subjects, such as that from Botticelli, Rossetti, Vermeer, Gauguin and more. Dimensions of large edition: 10x8in and 84 pages. The author has a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art from London as well as a PCET teaching qualification from Warwick.

As sincere as Mary was to her friend, Maria went further to causing Rowdy to spoil her friend's name in the name of having illicit relationship with her whereas; nothing of that nature had been, for Mary was truly guarding her heart in order to defend her personality, and that of her parent. The decision by the School Authority to expel Rowdy as a result of his unguarded attitude met with plea for leniency from Mary. She did not want his world to be ruined by that single act of self-indiscipline hence; she was rewarded on conduct by the School authority.

Book Summary:

This Manuscript is written in theatrical/ drama style, the setup of which comprises a number of scenes in which the murdered, decapitated and dismembered Journalist Jamal Khashoggi describes upon his arrival in Paradise to unite with Martyr Prophets Zachariah and his son, John the Baptist how he was murdered by Saudi operatives. The objectives of this Manuscript are Manifold - First, to remind the world that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Bin Salman, was the mastermind of the murder, dismembering and decapitation of Journalist Jamal Khashoggi and his act was a challenge to the world conscience which by Bin Salman's test has proven to be non-existent and the kind of Donald Trumpian-Jared Kushnerian conscience that has no feeling for a murdered, decapitated, dismembered human being for economic projects and investments awaiting the President, his daughter and her husband who may be a descendant of the outlawed sect of Bani Israel that did the same to Prophet Zachariah and his son John the Baptist centuries ago and have continued to be heartless until today. Second, it is an appeal to those who are wealthy to set up an international team of qualified criminal lawyers to investigate the crime and come up with the mastermind whom I have named as Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS), as no one in Arabia, but he, can move Government planes and Security staff to, literally, invade a foreign country and dismember with a bone saw a human being in the most savage way humanity has ever seen since the sawing and murdering of Prophet Zachariah and his son, Yahya/John the Baptist by the hoodlum Jews centuries ago.Third, it is a presentation in a dramatized style of the epic murder of the late Khashoggi as he relays his own tragedy and all that happened to him in his own tongue to his hosting crowd as he unites after death with the Martyr Prophets Zacharia and his son Yahya/ John the Baptist (peace be upon them) in a Grade A Place in Paradise.Fourth, it is to convey my belief that MBS is the dumbest, most deranged and most stupid fool to have ordered the Murder of JK in another country, thinking that the operation could only be a promenade, a leisurely walk and a stroll that would go unnoticed and unpunished.Fifth, it is intended to confirm that Jamal Khashoggi died once in this act of barbaric revenge for an article once written and might have been red by a few of the public whereas the act of murdering the late JK shall linger on the minds of the conscientious until bin Salman surrenders himself as the criminal murderer and get the appropriate punishment, accordingly; Sixth, it is also to stress that Jamal Khashoggi who died Once as a Martyr for his free word at the hands of a savage, vicious would- be King will be remembered as an icon of Martyrdom of thought while the mastermind of his murder, MBS, dies many times every second of his life until he is finally brought to justice and beheaded at which point the case rests! It is only then that the dismembered Khashoggi shall rest in peace and his case shall only be considered closed when all his offenders receive their due punishment of decapitation of their heads.Seventh, it is to emphasize that being a protégé of a the senile, opportunist United States President can only save or spare him momentarily but will not protect a murderer for longer than until one of the participants of the hit squad is caught by the international justice system to admit that it was MBS who issued the order to kill and dismember.Eighth, it is to confirm that I thank my Muslim wife who pointed out to me all the Quranic verses that are needed in the dialogues in this drama. Ninth, it is to stress that the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and his dismemberment has terminated and caused the victim to parish but was directed to the whole of humanity and left a scar and terrible pain in the veins of the living human beings of conscience who should bring MBS to justice and make him pay.
