Book Summary:

In the gripping sequel to Robert V. S. Redick’s acclaimed epic fantasy novels The Red Wolf Conspiracy and The Ruling Sea, the crew of the vast, ancient ship Chathrand have reached the shores of the legendary southern empire of Bali Adro. Many have died in the crossing, and the alliance of rebels, led by the tarboy Pazel Pathkendle and the warrior Thasha Isiq, has faced death, betrayal, and darkest magic. But nothing has prepared them for the radically altered face of humanity in the South. They have little time to recover from the shock, however. For with landfall, the battle between the rebels and centuries-old sorcerer Arunis enters its final phase. At stake is control of the Nilstone, a cursed relic that promises unlimited power to whoever unlocks the secrets of its use—but death to those who fail. And no one is closer to mastering the Stone than Arunis. Desperate to stop him, Pazel and Thasha must join forces with their enemies, including the depraved Captain Rose and the imperial assassin Sandor Ott. But when a suspicious young crewmember turns his attentions to Thasha, it is the young lovers themselves who are divided—most conveniently for Arunis. As the mage’s triumph draws near, the allies face a terrible choice: to break their oaths and run for safety, or to hunt the world’s most dangerous sorcerer through the strange and deadly dream kingdom known as the River of Shadows, and to face him a last time among the traps and horrors of his lair. Brimming with high adventure, dark enchantment, and unforgettable characters, The River of Shadows deftly secures Redick’s place in the ranks of epic fantasy’s most original and enthralling storytellers.

Book Summary:

Rich Monroe was a young JFK assassination truth activist back in the 1970s. Along with a small group of his trusted friends, he embarked on a quest to expose the grand cabal that orchestrated the event. His Kennedy assassination research and his involvement in the fledgling " JFK Truther Community" provided him an opening to explore a secret world, a world filled with a myriad of carefully crafted deceptions, misinformation, and hoaxes. His experiences have served as an initiation of sorts, which has helped him evolve his understanding of this strange realm in which we live. This unique perspective is not just confined to the JFK assassination. It is a perspective that has helped him in his quest to unravel the many baffling events and conspiracies that continue up to the present day.Presenting his ideas and experiences through a number of personal stories, the author has created a succession of memoirs that expand upon many different conspiracy themes. This unique approach has allowed the author to present his "controversial understanding of reality" in a more human context. The result is a compelling book that goes much deeper than a simple presentation of conspiracy ideas, making it a book not only just for conspiracy junkies. The broad range of stories in The Conspiracy Diaries were created for a wide spectrum of readers, including those who would never open a "conspiracy book".

Book Summary:

The religious background of the Illuminati varies according to their world views and how history is seen, from which perspective is compiled, and although we may tend to simplify complexities within our mind, by placing collected information in the same box, it isn’t the easiest way to reach conclusions, and much less the truth. Today, the ones claiming to be part of a specific group self-entitled Illuminati can be traced back in history to the Knights Templar, the Pythagorean Brotherhood, the Gnostics, the Luciferian and Pagan traditions, and many, many more. The body of knowledge encompasses a huge amount of scientific truths kept hidden for thousands of years, and found in its entire body in the Vedic scriptures, the Egyptian schools of mysteries and even in the ancient Atlantic beliefs, which for many remain very alive today. Now, although for those in the darkness, the non-illuminated ones, the ignorant masses, it would be easier to divide the world in two parts, and place the illuminated ones in one category alone, I must stress that such would be naive and dangerous. We have to remember that, even though the nazis were, to a great extent, members of a secret society, the Thule Society, which most beliefs were incorporated in what we know today as Nazism, they did persecute many other societies that we still place in the same lineage of concepts known as being related to the Illuminati, namely, Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, Gnosticism and more. And they did this with full support of the Vatican, which, supposedly, should be following an opposite religious direction. The question we can then ask, if we wish to comprehend why such things happened, is why these societies, sharing the same background, oppose one another. And the answer is as important today as it has always been before. Because, you see, although I’m a member of many religious societies and don’t see a reason to play this game, I can’t truly understand why so many do it, or how to explain to the ones doing why they shouldn’t. I have met many Rosicrucians opposing Freemasonry, many Freemasons fearing Scientology, many Gnostics claiming supremacy over any of those groups, and even Scientologists believing that their belief system is unique and supreme, and this while some of the Christians that I’ve personally encountered dig deep into their bible and find similarities between Christianity and the beliefs of the Egyptian philosophies, and yet refuse to place the body of knowledge under the same light, due to prejudice and the need to have a common enemy. In other words, we’re still very far from realizing that we’re not truly fighting a real battle, but merely opposing one another, fearing our own shadows and delaying our progress as human beings. The truth is that many of the founders and most well-known figures of these societies have tried to create a parallelism between all, and instead of placing themselves at the top of a hierarchy. It is the deceptive few inside these groups that confuse the fundaments and shift the paradigms towards a war scenario between good and evil. In reality, the real illuminated ones, live and always lived beyond this duality, with their eyes in a future that unites us under the same God, the same rules and the same order, not to favor a few but everyone.

Jacob Carpenter, down on his luck, decides to take a chance and volunteer. However, Jacob finds himself in the middle of a dark conspiracy. Book Summary:

The latest historical thriller by New York Times Notable mystery author Lawrence Goldstone plunges readers into the dramatic events surrounding the assassination of President William McKinley. Just after 4 p.m. on September 6, 1901, twenty-eight year old anarchist Leon Czolgosz pumped two shots into the chest and abdomen of President William McKinley. Czolgosz had been on a receiving line waiting to shake the president’s hand, his revolver concealed in an oversized bandage covering his right hand and wrist. McKinley had two Secret Service agents by his side, but neither made a move to stop the assailant. After he was apprehended, Czolgosz said simply, “I done my duty.” Both law enforcement and the press insisted that Czolgosz was merely the tip of a vast and murderous conspiracy, likely instigated by the “high priestess of anarchy,” Emma Goldman. To untangle its threads and bring the remaining conspirators to justice, the president’s most senior advisors choose two other Secret Service agents, Walter George and Harry Swayne. What they uncover will not only absolve the anarchists, but also expose a plot that will threaten the foundations of American democracy, and likely cost them their lives. As in his other brilliant novels combining history and fiction, Lawrence Goldstone creates a remarkable and chilling tableau, filled with suspense and unexpected turns of fate, detailing events that actually might have happened. As Publishers Weekly observed in its starred review of the “exceptional thriller,” Deadly Cure, “Goldstone again blends fact and fiction seamlessly.”

Cora and Minnie are sisters living in a small, stifling town where strange and mysterious things occur. Their mother runs the local boarding house. Their father is gone. Thomas and Charles are brothers who've been exiled to the boarding house so Thomas can tame his ways and Charles can fight an illness that is killing him with increasing speed. Their family history is one of sorrow and guilt. They think they can escape from it . . . but they can't. Arthur is also new to the boarding house. His fate is tied to that of Cora, Minnie, Thomas, and Charles. He knows what darkness circles them, but can't say why, and doesn't even know if they can be saved. Sinister forces are working in the shadows, manipulating fates and crafting conspiracies. The closer Cora, Minnie, Arthur, Thomas, and Charles get to the truth, the closer they get to harm.
