Book Summary:

We tend to view prolonged economic downturns, such as the Great Depression of the 1930s and the Long Depression of the late nineteenth century, in terms of the crisis and pain they cause. But history teaches us that these great crises also represent opportunities to remake our economy and society and to generate whole new eras of economic growth and prosperity. In terms of innovation, invention, and energetic risk taking, these periods of "creative destruction" have been some of the most fertile in history, and the changes they put into motion can set the stage for full-scale recovery. In The Great Reset, bestselling author and economic development expert Richard Florida provides an engaging and sweeping examination of these previous economic epochs, or "resets." He distills the deep forces that have altered physical and social landscapes and eventually reshaped economies and societies. Looking toward the future, Florida identifies the patterns that will drive the next Great Reset and transform virtually every aspect of our lives — from how and where we live, to how we work, to how we invest in individuals and infrastructure, to how we shape our cities and regions. Florida shows how these forces, when combined, will spur a fresh era of growth and prosperity, define a new geography of progress, and create surprising opportunities for all of us. Among these forces will be * new patterns of consumption, and new attitudes toward ownership that are less centered on houses and cars * the transformation of millions of service jobs into middle class careers that engage workers as a source of innovation * new forms of infrastructure that speed the movement of people, goods, and ideas * a radically altered and much denser economic landscape organized around "megaregions" that will drive the development of new industries, new jobs, and a whole new way of life We've weathered tough times before. They are a necessary part of economic cycles, giving us a chance to clearly see what's working and what's not. Societies can be reborn in such crises, emerging fresh, strong, and refocused. Now is our opportunity to anticipate what that brighter future will look like and to take the steps that will get us there faster. With his trademark blend of wit, irreverence, and rigorous research and analysis, Florida presents an optimistic and counterintuitive vision of our future, calling into question long-held beliefs about the nature of economic progress and forcing us to reassess our very way of life. He argues convincingly that it's time to turn our efforts — as individuals, as governments, and as a society — to putting the necessary pieces in place for a vibrant, prosperous future.

Book Summary:

"When President Nixon launched the War on Cancer with the signing of the National Cancer Act of 1971 and the allocation of billions of research dollars, it was amidst a flurry of promises that a cure was within reach. The research establishment was trumpeting the discovery of oncogenes, the genes that supposedly cause cancer. As soon as we identified them and treated cancer patients accordingly, cancer would become a thing of the past. Fifty years later it's clear that the War on Cancer has failed--despite what the cancer industry wants us to believe. New diagnoses have continued to climb; one in three people in the United States can now expect to battle cancer during their lifetime. For the majority of common cancers, the search for oncogenes has not changed the treatment: We're still treating with the same old triad of removing (surgery), burning out (radiation), or poisoning (chemotherapy). In Cancer and the New Biology of Water, Thomas Cowan, MD, argues that this failure was inevitable because the oncogene theory is incorrect--or at least incomplete--and based on a flawed concept of biology in which DNA controls our cellular function and therefore our health. Instead, Dr. Cowan tells us, the somatic mutations seen in cancer cells are the result of a cellular deterioration that has little to do with oncogenes, DNA, or even the nucleus. The root cause is metabolic dysfunction that deteriorates the structured water that forms the basis of cytoplasmic health. Despite mainstream medicine's failure to bring an end to suffering or deliver on its promises, it remains illegal for physicians to prescribe anything other than the "standard of care" for their cancer patients, despite the fact that gentler, more effective, and more promising treatments exist"--

Book Summary:

Over the past 50 years, rates of chronic illness, learning disabilities, and allergies in children have exploded--1 in 6 children has a diagnosed learning disorder, 1 in 50 has autism, and 1 in 13 has severe food allergies. Instead of blaming genetics or increased awareness and diagnosis, author Thomas Cowan, MD, attributes these rising numbers to our current vaccination policy. In Vaccines, Auto-Immunity, and the Assault on Childhood, Cowan combines his years of experience as a medical practitioner with his research into the history and science of vaccines to show how childhood illnesses, which help children to develop a robust immune system, are now eschewed by conventional medicine in favor of an increasing array of vaccinations that do more harm than good. Invoking philosopher Rudolph Steiner's vision of vaccines as inspired by "spirits of darkness," Cowan brings to light the various ways in which scientists and government officials work to promote a vaccine program that only increases suffering. Along the way he questions commonly held views of cell biology, the role of water in the body, and the spatial and spiritual components of autism. Additionally, he provides hope of recovery in the form of a nontoxic course of treatment for those suffering chronic inflammation and other averse immune responses to vaccines. Cowan's thoughtfully bold writing takes us on a journey into the history of illness, questioning the true origins of diseases such as polio, and asking important questions, such as: why did paralytic polio make a sudden appearance in the US in the years between 1916-1918? The answers lie far beyond what conventional medicine would have us believe. Vaccines, Auto-Immunity, and the Assault on Childhood asks that we re-examine not only our modern health system but our relationship with the spiritual world. Only then will we find true health.

"Polio is NOT even contagious or infectious (never proven to be). There is NO proof Polio is caused by a virus. There is NO evidence that anyone caught polio from another person in the family. There is NO evidence that any nurse or doctor caught polio from a patient." —Sheri Nakken, RN, MA Listed below are public health statistics (U.S. Public Health Reports) from the four states which adopted compulsory vaccination, and the figures from Los Angeles, California (similar results in other states available from books listed at the back of this booklet): TENNESSEE 1958: 119 cases of polio before compulsory shots 1959: 386 cases of polio after compulsory shots OHIO 1958: 17 cases of polio before compulsory shots 1959: 52 cases of polio after compulsory shots CONNECTICUT 1958: 45 cases of polio before compulsory shots 1959: 123 cases of polio after compulsory shots NORTH CAROLINA 1958: 78 cases of polio before compulsory shots 1959: 313 cases of polio after compulsory shots LOS ANGELES 1958: 89 cases of polio before shots 1959: 190 cases of polio after shots The decline of smallpox, as with many other infectious diseases, including diphtheria and scarlet fever, coincided with the sanitation reforms which were instituted in the late 1880s. Where obtainable, government health records from around the world showed that during the periods of the most intense and widespread vaccination, the incidence of and death rates from smallpox were highest. For instance, in Kansas City and Pittsburgh during the 1920s, lawsuits were initiated, and won, against doctors and medical societies for declaring smallpox epidemics when there were none, and for creating epidemics with their vaccination drives. Before 1903, smallpox was almost unknown in the Philippines, with occurrences in less than 3% of the population, and that in a mild form. The U.S. military went in and began vaccinating, and by 1905 the Philippines had its first major epidemic. Vaccination was made compulsory in 1910. From 1905 to 1923, the mortality rate ranged from 25-75%, depending on the count from the various islands. “The mortality rate was the highest in the cities where vaccination was most intense.” Dr. W.W. Keen reported 130,264 cases and 74,369 deaths from smallpox in 1921. Japan adopted compulsory vaccinations in 1872 when they had only a few cases of smallpox. By 1892 they had the largest smallpox epidemic in their history with 165,774 cases and 29,979 deaths. Australia banned the smallpox vaccine after some children were killed by it, and in the following 15 years in unvaccinated Australia there were only 3 cases of smallpox. The smallpox vaccine was discontinued in the United States after Dr. Henry Kempe reported to Congress in 1966 that fewer people were dying from the disease than from vaccination.

Book Summary:

From the co-author of The Dangerous Book for Boys, the Khan series is a triumph of historical fiction—a bold, epic account bursting with gritty realism and exhilarating action. Now this eBook bundle assembles the entire series—Birth of an Empire, Lords of the Bow, Bones of the Hills, Empire of Silver, and Conqueror—sparing no detail, from the Great Khan’s first conquest and the heights of his unprecedented empire, to his brutal ancestral legacy and the rise of Kublai Khan. GENGHIS: BIRTH OF AN EMPIRE “Invigorating . . . zesty historical fiction, the kind with plenty of unbridled combat, accurate research, rampaging hordes and believable characters.”—USA Today Genghis Khan was born Temujin, the son of a khan, raised in a clan of hunters and driven by a singular fury: to survive in the face of death, to kill before being killed. Through a series of courageous raids, Temujin’s legend grew until he was chasing a vision: to unite many tribes into one, to make the earth tremble under the hoofbeats of a thousand warhorses, to subject all nations and empires to his will. GENGHIS: LORDS OF THE BOW “Readers who enjoy well-researched tales of historical adventure with an emphasis on political intrigue, exotic settings, and military conflict will enjoy the ride.”—Library Journal For centuries, primitive tribes have warred with one another. Now, under Genghis Khan, they have united as one nation to face the ultimate test: the great, slumbering walled empire of the Chin. In Yenking—modern-day Beijing—the Chin will make their final stand. But Genghis will strike with breathtaking audacity, never ceasing until the emperor himself is forced to kneel. GENGHIS: BONES OF THE HILLS “Page-turning . . . a sweeping historical saga [that] will appeal to fans of gritty combat fiction.”—Booklist As Genghis enters a strange new land of towering mountains and arid desert, he stirs an enemy greater than any he has met before. Shah Ala-ud-Din Mohammed has under his command thousands of fierce Arab warriors, teeming cavalry, and terrifying armored elephants. But another battle is taking shape—between two of Genghis’s feuding sons. Soon the most powerful man in the world must choose a successor, touching off the most bitter conflict of all. KHAN: EMPIRE OF SILVER “Epic . . . alpha-male fiction . . . The book has much to teach about a time and a people long shrouded in legend.”—The Wall Street Journal The Great Khan is dead—and his vast empire, forged through raw courage, tactical brilliance, and indomitable force, hangs in the balance. Even as the sons of Genghis Khan maneuver for supremacy, the Khan’s armies extend his reach farther than ever before, into southern China and across the rugged mountains of Russia to the vulnerable heart of Europe, where the most courageous warriors the West commands await the coming onslaught. CONQUEROR “A rip-roarin’ read, and inspiration to go and sack a few cities on your own.”—Kirkus Reviews A succession of ruthless leaders have seized power in the wake of the Great Khan’s death—all descendants of Genghis, but none with his indomitable character. It is Kublai—refined and scholarly, always considered too thoughtful to take power—who will devise new ways of warfare and conquest as he builds the dream city of Xanadu. His gifts will serve him well when an epic civil war breaks out among brothers, the outcome of which will literally change the world.

Book Summary:

The largest financial fraud in history wasn't Enron's colossal accounting crimes, Bernie Madoff's record-setting Ponzi scheme or the Libor scandal, in which some of the world's biggest banks conspired to profit by manipulating interest rates. No, the largest financial fraud in history is one most Americans know little to nothing about. It isn't mentioned by politicians, reported on the nightly news or discussed by coworkers during lunch break. The biggest fraud in history is a financial scheme perpetrated by the U.S. government and its banking accomplices. Over the last century, they've used coercion, deception and market manipulation to convince Americans the U.S. dollar is as good as gold and silver. The truth is, it's not.

Book Summary:

Marion Zimmer Bradley was a bestselling science fiction author, a feminist icon, and was awarded the World Fantasy Award for lifetime achievement. She was best known for the Arthurian fiction novel THE MISTS OF AVALON and for her very popular Darkover series. She was also a monster. THE LAST CLOSET: The Dark Side of Avalon is a brutal tale of a harrowing childhood. It is the true story of predatory adults preying on the innocence of children without shame, guilt, or remorse. It is an eyewitness account of how high-minded utopian intellectuals, unchecked by law, tradition, religion, or morality, can create a literal Hell on Earth. THE LAST CLOSET is also an inspiring story of survival. It is a powerful testimony to courage, to hope, and to faith. It is the story of Moira Greyland, the only daughter of Marion Zimmer Bradley and convicted child molester Walter Breen, told in her own words.

Book Summary:

As President Trump’s National Security Advisor, John Bolton spent many of his 453 days in the room where it happened, and the facts speak for themselves. The result is a White House memoir that is the most comprehensive and substantial account of the Trump Administration, and one of the few to date by a top-level official. With almost daily access to the President, John Bolton has produced a precise rendering of his days in and around the Oval Office. What Bolton saw astonished him: a President for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation. “I am hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision during my tenure that wasn’t driven by reelection calculations,” he writes. In fact, he argues that the House committed impeachment malpractice by keeping their prosecution focused narrowly on Ukraine when Trump’s Ukraine-like transgressions existed across the full range of his foreign policy—and Bolton documents exactly what those were, and attempts by him and others in the Administration to raise alarms about them. He shows a President addicted to chaos, who embraced our enemies and spurned our friends, and was deeply suspicious of his own government. In Bolton’s telling, all this helped put Trump on the bizarre road to impeachment. “The differences between this presidency and previous ones I had served were stunning,” writes Bolton, who worked for Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43. He discovered a President who thought foreign policy is like closing a real estate deal—about personal relationships, made-for-TV showmanship, and advancing his own interests. As a result, the US lost an opportunity to confront its deepening threats, and in cases like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea ended up in a more vulnerable place. Bolton’s account starts with his long march to the West Wing as Trump and others woo him for the National Security job. The minute he lands, he has to deal with Syria’s chemical attack on the city of Douma, and the crises after that never stop. As he writes in the opening pages, “If you don’t like turmoil, uncertainty, and risk—all the while being constantly overwhelmed with information, decisions to be made, and sheer amount of work—and enlivened by international and domestic personality and ego conflicts beyond description, try something else.” The turmoil, conflicts, and egos are all there—from the upheaval in Venezuela, to the erratic and manipulative moves of North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, to the showdowns at the G7 summits, the calculated warmongering by Iran, the crazy plan to bring the Taliban to Camp David, and the placating of an authoritarian China that ultimately exposed the world to its lethal lies. But this seasoned public servant also has a great eye for the Washington inside game, and his story is full of wit and wry humor about how he saw it played.

Book Summary:

"Trusting your doctor can be lethal. Dr Vernon Coleman, one of the world's leading experts, has defined 12 simple rules; each one of which could save your life. Easy to read, this could be the most important book in your life."Dr Coleman's laws of medicine have been carefully formulated over 40 years of practising and writing about health care. Here's how Dr Coleman describes this book:`However good your doctor is, and however much you may trust him or her, you must share the responsibility for your own health, and you must know when to tell your doctor if you think that the treatment with which he or she is providing you, could be causing problems. After all, if things go wrong, your nice friendly doctor is more likely to kill you than is a burglar a deranged relative or a drunken motorist. Remember: one in six people in hospital are there because they have been made ill by a doctor. I have built this book around ther twelve basic laws of medicine which I have, over the years, formulated for my own benefit as a doctor, an observer and a patient. I have illustrated each of the 12 laws with clinical anecdotes and scientific data.'Here, for example, is Coleman's First Law of Medicine:`If you are receiving treatment for an existing disease and you develop new symptoms then, until proved otherwise, you should assume that the new symptoms are caused by the treatment you are receiving.'"The living terror of the British medical establishment." - Irish TimesDr Vernon Coleman is the author of over 100 books - many of them international bestsellers. Book Summary:

This is the second story in a non-partisan series detailing how the elite have impoverished America's Middle Class. In this timely and revealing book the author explains what has happened in simple, easy to understand terms, that are brief and to-the-point. The crippling and devastating consequences to liberty have not gone unnoticed. The author bears witness to history and the treacherous crimes which have overthrown the Republic. Referred to as the history of the Deep State. The Illusion of Democracy is a more accurate historical accounting of the United States since the coup of 1963, when President Kennedy was executed in Dealey Plaza by the Operation 40 assassination squad. This sequel focuses on the big picture. It explains Hegelian Dialectic Principles of how our puppet masters create conflict to increase their wealth and power. The book connects the dots of all major false flag events to prove this massive deception was intentionally engineered, and that we the people have been subjugated through indentured servitude into a feudal system controlled by wealthy oligarchs. This book was written at a high school level with those students in mind. It is perfect for high school classes, college courses, or the average reader at home who is curious about what went wrong over the past generation which killed the American Dream.

However, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle when put together forms a picture, those pieces give us a picture of the final Antichrist.God gives us signs as a way of speaking to us, and he has given us much evidence that Obama is the Antichrist, from 666 appearing, to people who had dreams and visions that Obama is the Antichrist. And while Obama was president, he did many things that caused people to believe that he could be the Antichrist in the minds of many people. Because of his actions while president, so many people were saying that Obama is the Antichrist that it became a published news story in mainstream newspapers and news networks, even the L.A. Times and Newsweek. This book gives all the evidence, starting with a brief biography of Obama showing what he has done, revealing his connections to radical Islam, and even his relationship to Satan himself! And he has continued to act against America after leaving office. Finally, he is well-loved in many nations of the world, and could easily become the ruler of another country. Two chapters of dreams and prophecies are included. If only two or three people said God revealed to them that Obama is the Antichrist, it would not be important, but it has happened to dozens, perhaps hundreds of people. They usually ask God, "Who is the Antichrist?" and he gives them a dream or tells them that it is Obama, often to their surprise. Do you really believe that the Antichrist will come without God warning us so we can prepare? No, God will warn us! And he is warning you, if you able and willing to believe the evidence.

Book Summary:

Award-winning journalist and New York Times bestselling author Gerald Posner reveals the heroes and villains of the trillion-dollar-a-year pharmaceutical industry and delivers “a withering and encyclopedic indictment of a drug industry that often seems to prioritize profits over patients (The New York Times Book Review). Pharmaceutical breakthroughs such as antibiotics and vaccines rank among some of the greatest advancements in human history. Yet exorbitant prices for life-saving drugs, safety recalls affecting tens of millions of Americans, and soaring rates of addiction and overdose on prescription opioids have caused many to lose faith in drug companies. Now, Americans are demanding a national reckoning with a monolithic industry. “Gerald’s dogged reporting, sets Pharma apart from all books on this subject” (The Washington Standard) as we are introduced to brilliant scientists, incorruptible government regulators, and brave whistleblowers facing off against company executives often blinded by greed. A business that profits from treating ills can create far deadlier problems than it cures. Addictive products are part of the industry’s DNA, from the days when corner drugstores sold morphine, heroin, and cocaine, to the past two decades of dangerously overprescribed opioids. Pharma also uncovers the real story of the Sacklers, the family that became one of America’s wealthiest from the success of OxyContin, their blockbuster narcotic painkiller at the center of the opioid crisis. Relying on thousands of pages of government and corporate archives, dozens of hours of interviews with insiders, and previously classified FBI files, Posner exposes the secrets of the Sacklers’ rise to power—revelations that have long been buried under a byzantine web of interlocking companies with ever-changing names and hidden owners. The unexpected twists and turns of the Sackler family saga are told against the startling chronicle of a powerful industry that sits at the intersection of public health and profits. “Explosively, even addictively, readable” (Booklist, starred review), Pharma reveals how and why American drug companies have put earnings ahead of patients.

Book Summary:

We have nothing to fear but fear itself. FDRIn this book, author Tommy Madison takes a down to earth look at how the fear of COVID-19 spread faster than the virus itself.Madison explains how the unfortunate convergence of green journalism, hatred of Donald Trump, and an unprecedented moment in time sparked a pandemic of fear, hysteria, and panic that will have long-lasting and far-reaching consequences. He takes us through how the science was manipulated and unmasks the people who spread the misinformation. Lies, damn lies, and fake statistics created a mythical COVID boogie man that was much more dangerous than COVID itself.Instead of "flattening the curve," we began an epic battle with this mythical monster that led to devastating and unnecessary consequences. The book contains evidence that the lockdowns were not only ineffective but hampered the real effort of reducing COVID's ability to spread to our most vulnerable populations. And finally, Madison provides insight on how we can all begin to move forward and recover, so hopefully, we can learn from our mistakes and are not doomed to repeat them.I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them real facts.Abraham Lincoln
